Again, Augusta/Rosemont caught telling investors one thing and telling us another thing

As pointed out in today’s paper, Augusta is apparently not being truthful with southern Arizona about its ultimate plans to expand its permanent destruction of the Santa Rita Mountains.

This issue was first highlighted on this blog, here, and here.

If Augusta/Rosemont is not going to be honest with us about this, what else are they not telling us?

IT IS TIME FOR THOSE CONCERNED TO REALIZE THAT AUGUSTA RESOURCES IS NOT A MINING COMPANY , HAS NEVER DEVELOPED A MINE NOR OPERATED A MINE . THEY ARE LISTED AS A RESOURCE COMPANY FOR THAT REASON , IN THE HOPES THAT THEY CAN ” FLIP ” THE ROSEMONT PROPERTY ONCE THEY GET THE ” GREEN LIGHT ” FROM THE FOREST SERVICE . THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY SHOPPING AROUND FOR A MAJOR ” MINING ” COMPANY TO FLIP TO . IN THE MEANTIME , THEY WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO GAIN POSITIVE PUBLICITY IN ORDER TO CREATE AN ATTRACTIVE IMAGE . THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT THIS SO BEWARE .

Our water..our well water, our river water belongs to the inhabitants here to use. Rosemont Mine would use up the great majority of it…and give us CAP water instead. I have tasted CAP water numerous times and it is not the quality of our ground water here. We are already experiencing water sources diminishing and what is more important to any community than water…nothing.

Already, even before the mine is a “done thing”, we have friends who have heard of the “mine problem” here and are concerned about the water as well as the negative impact the mine would have on future real estate values.
